The Badass Blog

Just some shit that's been on my mind.

Our First Sale

Ok, so like any other budding entrepreneur I have a day job. Mine is that I manage at an exclusive restaurant. So I am standing on the line watching the cooks when I check my email on my phone. That’s when I see an email from PayPal telling me somebody bought a shirt.I immediately pumped my fist in the air. I was so happy that someone that I don’t know at all connected with my work. It was a very personal moment of validation.

Not just somebody though, it was a complete stranger. Turns out this band, The Moses Gun, based out of Chicago did a song called Damn, Damn, Damn. The drummer was looking for a shirt to wear and this one was perfect. I love rock in all forms and these guys have an awesome sound.

Bigggups to The Moses Gun you will always be customer #1 THANK YOU!!! #visualbadass #damndamndamn Judging from the picture and the song you can pretty much guess what he bought.

Hello My Fellow Badasses!!!

I launched visualbadass.com for one reason… to share great art. This usually leads to the question: “What is great art?” Well, I define great art as anything you are proud to own and proud to show-off. Be it a t-shirt, a coffee mug, a hat (coming soon) or a poster (also coming soon) it should be your favorite shirt, mug, hat or poster. Why? Because you like the way it looks or what it represents, either way it is something that makes life a little more beautiful.

Sooooooo, the plan here is to release new art every week! But, if I don’t it’s probably just a sign of my inherent A.D.D. But don’t worry after I come back from wherever that is I will be right here creating new funky fresh stuff for you to wear and be proud of! I just hope that my designs inspire you, encourage you, uplift you and make you smile.

So thank you for joining me on this little experiment. One thing to keep in mind: Sometimes things will be all over the place and sometimes things will be well organized but the art will always be beautiful
